『WALKING IN THE RYTHEM』

みなさん、こんばんわ このたびこのアートスペース 元我堂展示させてもらってます。
イドトシユキ と カワハタユウキです。 え〜今回の展示ではまーそのこのギャラリーならではの夜の展示というものをたのしんでいただけたら…などと思ったわけでして。
まっ もすこし つっこんで言っちゃうと、夜にあえてうすぐら〜い空間で、よく見えない作品を手探りで見てもらったり、あるいは見るともなく見てもらったり、そーこーしてるうちに光っては消える映像をボ〜ッと眺めてもらったりだとか、そんなふうに普段の時間感覚から次第にズレてくる感じ、そしていつしか身体のほうがその感じに馴染んでくる体験、そんなものを味わえる空間がつくれたらな〜なんてとこが今回の展示の主旨なわけです。さっ みなさん良ければボ〜ッとしていって下さい。

映像作品『clepsydra ~水時計~』
え〜 この作品のタイトルになってる水時計というやつはですねーそれはもう古くからあるものでですね、どれくらい古いかってもう、よくわかんないっていうぐらい古いわけで、最古の時計なんて言われてるわけですね。なものでメカニズムはとてもシンプル水の落ちる速度でもって時間をはかろうってわけなんですけど、実際かなりの緻密な条件が揃わないと正確な時間は計れないわけです。時計としてはとても曖昧なわけですねー。だけど、その水が落ちる所作を時計という形に閉じ込めるって、スゴくダイレクトというか直感的ってゆうか、そこにはなにか目で見て、体験して、味わう時間が存在しますよね？それってゆーのは、ほんとはとてもあたりまえのことで、水が落ちる、流れる様や、波紋が拡がる様、太陽が海から顔を出して、月は様々に形を変える、カエルのジャンプよりは僕のジャンプのほうが長く飛べるはずだし、鳥はずーっとジャンプしてる、小さく千切った雲はどんどん移動するし、ほいっもくもく雲はまだあそこそんなみなさんも体験のあることからこそ、［時］が生まれたからスゴくあたりまえでガテンがいくんだと思うんですけど、そういったところをですね、この展示空間で味わってもらいたくて作った作品です。映像の中身よりもどちらかというと正面のカワハタくんのペインティングに映像があたることでひとつの作品として成り立つもの、空間もその光の明滅で成り立つ、そんな体験型の作品の１つになるかなーと思います。

えー この作品は、えー月相の変化による［時］ってやつを、えーそれにシンクロする所があるってゆー説もある女性の身体のメカニズムから、
えー妊娠と重ね合わせた作品だけど。
